We started creating a network to make last-mile deliveries effortless, but we faced challenges; expensive integrations and lack of standardisation in an industry built on inefficient, complex and error-prone processes. It quickly became evident that we needed to build a new infrastructure to address these pain points. Too much time, money and energy was being wasted overcoming these hurdles rather than delivering a great customer experience.

This is why Orkestro was born. Using our platform, any business can instantly start delivering goods at scale, leveraging automation to tap into all couriers at once whilst getting access to industry beating SLAs. We've made great progress since being founded in 2017, building a team, launching a product, raising money and partnering with some of the world's biggest ecommerce platforms.

Founding. We started in mid 2017, spending our first two years connecting to local couriers and building our initial product.

First Booking. In early 2018, a large multi-store chain in London made the first real delivery booking through Orkestro.

Seed Round - Part I. After going through an accelerator, we closed a £3M seed round led by LocalGlobe and Cherry Ventures.

1M Bookings. The strong relationships with our partners allowed us to reach the milestone of orchestrating 1M booking since our launch.

Seed Round - Part II. In March, we revealed that we raised a further £1.5M in our Seed, led by the founders of Depop, Checkout.com and Sequoia Scouts.

OUR PROCESS

Interviewing with us

So you're thinking about applying! We generally try to strike a balance between a quick and thorough interview process, and whilst they tend to differ between roles they all follow the same general format.

After submitting your application we'll look at your skills, experience and assess whether your profile will let you thrive at Orkestro for the job you applied for.

If we think there is a match, someone will schedule a call with you to understand your motivations for joining Orkestro and get a sense of what interests and drives you.

If we think you're a good fit for the company, you'll have your first interview online. This will vary from role to role, although is generally 1 hour long.

If you pass this, you'll be invited to an onsite interview which will last a few hours. Typically we'd like you to meet the team so you can ask questions and perhaps grab a coffee.
